The influx of stars to the Saudi Pro League is going to make the Golden Boot race a compelling watch throughout the 2023/24 season.
Al Ahli's new arrival, ex-Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, started strong with a hat-trick in his first league match for his club and he has the early lead in the top scorers table.
But the season is just getting underway and there are a host of players who will challenge Firmino, from last year's winner Abderrazak Hamdallah, his Al Ittihad teammate Karim Benzema, Al Hilal's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and the Al Nassr pair of Cristiano Ronaldo and Talisca.
The Sporting News will be following the 2023/24 Saudi Pro League campaign and tracking the top scorers, with assists serving as the first tiebreaker, and fewest minutes played the second tiebreaker, as per major international tournaments.
